BBQ Life Shipping Policy

At BBQ Life, we aim to make delivery as simple and straightforward as possible. This Shipping Policy explains our delivery areas, delivery charges, delivery methods and what to expect when your order arrives.

1. Delivery areas

We currently deliver to addresses in England, Wales and mainland Scotland.

Delivery availability may vary depending on your postcode, property access and courier coverage. If we are unable to deliver to your address, we will contact you as soon as possible.

2. Delivery charges

Delivery charges depend on the items ordered and the delivery location.

England and Wales

  • Kamado BBQs: free delivery
  • Accessory-only orders: delivery charges start from £12

If your order includes a kamado BBQ and accessories, delivery is included with the kamado BBQ order for addresses in England and Wales.

Mainland Scotland

  • Kamado BBQs: delivery charges apply
  • Accessory-only orders: delivery charges apply

The exact delivery charge for your order will always be shown clearly at checkout before you complete your purchase.

3. Delivery times

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on stock availability, courier schedules and delivery location.

Estimated delivery times

  • Kamado BBQs – around 1 to 2 weeks
  • Accessories – around 3 to 5 working days

For pre-order items, delivery will take place once stock arrives and your order is ready for dispatch.

If your order includes both in-stock and pre-order items, we may hold the order until all items are available, unless agreed otherwise.

4. Kamado BBQ deliveries

Kamado BBQs are large, heavy items and are usually delivered by pallet or specialist courier service.

Unless otherwise stated, Kamado BBQ delivery is a kerbside or threshold delivery service. This means:

  • delivery will be made as close as reasonably possible to the front of your property;
  • the driver may not be able to move the item through your home, garden, side access or over steps, gravel or uneven ground;
  • unpacking, assembly and packaging removal are not included;
  • disposal of the pallet and packaging is the customer’s responsibility.

Someone must be present at the delivery address to receive and sign for the delivery.

Because Kamado BBQs are heavy, you should ensure you have suitable help available to move the product into position safely after delivery.

5. Access requirements

It is your responsibility to make sure there is suitable access for delivery.

Please let us know before dispatch if your delivery address has any access restrictions, including:

  • narrow roads or restricted vehicle access;
  • parking restrictions;
  • gated access;
  • steep or uneven driveways;
  • steps, gravel or other difficult surfaces;
  • any other issue that may affect delivery.

If delivery cannot be completed due to access restrictions that were not made known to us in advance, additional delivery or redelivery charges may apply.

6. Accessory deliveries

Accessory orders are usually delivered by parcel courier.

Accessory delivery is to the main entrance of the delivery address unless otherwise arranged. Assembly, installation and packaging removal are not included.

7. Checking your delivery

Please inspect your order as soon as possible after delivery.

If your order arrives damaged, incomplete or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible at info@bbqlife.co.uk and include:

  • your order number;
  • a brief description of the issue;
  • clear photographs of the item and packaging, where possible.

If there is visible external damage at the point of delivery, please note this when signing for the delivery where possible.

Reporting damage promptly helps us investigate and resolve the issue more quickly.

8. Missed deliveries and failed delivery attempts

If nobody is available to accept delivery, or if delivery cannot be completed due to access issues, failed contact, or incorrect delivery information, we may need to rearrange delivery.

In these cases, additional delivery, storage or redelivery charges may apply.

9. Delivery delays

We do our best to deliver orders within the estimated timeframe, but delays can sometimes happen due to circumstances outside our control, including courier delays, traffic, weather, supply chain disruption or high seasonal demand.

We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, but we will always do our best to keep you informed.

10. Order confirmation and dispatch

Once your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation email.

When your order is ready for dispatch, we may send a further update confirming dispatch or delivery arrangements, depending on the type of item ordered.
