At BBQ Life, we want you to enjoy your kamado BBQ with confidence. Our products are designed for outdoor cooking, family gatherings and years of memorable meals.
Selected BBQ Life products include warranty cover of up to 5 years, depending on the product and component. Please read the details below to understand what is covered and how to make a claim.
Warranty Cover for BBQ Life Kamado BBQs
5-Year Limited Warranty: Ceramic Parts
The ceramic parts of your BBQ Life kamado BBQ are covered for 5 years from the date of delivery against manufacturing defects under normal domestic use.
This applies to the ceramic components supplied as part of the kamado BBQ.
3-Year Limited Warranty: Metal Parts
The metal parts of your BBQ Life kamado BBQ are covered for 3 years from the date of delivery against manufacturing defects under normal domestic use.
This applies to metal components supplied as part of the kamado BBQ, such as metal bands, hinges, vents, cooking components and stand parts.
1-Year Limited Warranty: Thermometer, Gasket, Shelves and Electrical Components
The following parts are covered for 1 year from the date of delivery against manufacturing defects under normal domestic use:
- Built-in thermometer
- Gasket
- Side shelves
- Electrical components
- Motorised components supplied with or purchased for use with a BBQ Life kamado BBQ
Warranty Cover for BBQ Life Accessories
All standalone BBQ Life accessories are covered by a 1-Year Limited Warranty from the date of delivery against manufacturing defects under normal domestic use.
This includes accessories purchased separately from a kamado BBQ.
What Our Warranty Covers
Our warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship where the product has been used correctly for normal domestic outdoor cooking.
Where a valid warranty claim is confirmed, BBQ Life may provide a suitable replacement part, repair, replacement product or another appropriate resolution, depending on the nature of the fault and product availability.
What Is Not Covered
The BBQ Life warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear through regular use
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect or accidental damage
- Damage caused by incorrect assembly, installation or maintenance
- Damage caused by dropping, impact or moving the product incorrectly
- Damage caused by unauthorised repairs, alterations or modifications
- Commercial, rental or non-domestic use
- Cosmetic changes that do not affect performance, including minor marks, staining, fading or discolouration
- Surface rust, corrosion or weather-related deterioration caused by exposure, poor storage or lack of maintenance
- Damage caused by using unsuitable fuels, chemicals, lighter fluid or other products not recommended for kamado cooking
- Damage caused during delivery where the issue was not reported within a reasonable time after delivery
- Consumable items or products used up during normal cooking
Because BBQ Life products are designed for outdoor use, suitable care, protection and storage are important for maintaining their condition and performance.
Arrived Damaged or Missing a Part?
Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
If your product arrives damaged, incomplete or with an incorrect item, please contact us promptly with photographs of the packaging and product so we can investigate and help resolve the issue.
Delivery damage is handled separately from the product warranty.
How to Make a Warranty Claim

Please include:
- Your full name
- Your order number or proof of purchase
- The product name
- A clear description of the issue
- Photographs or a short video showing the fault, where possible
Please do not dispose of the product or affected part before your claim has been reviewed, as we may need further information to assess the issue.
Proof of Purchase
Warranty claims require proof of purchase from BBQ Life. This may include your order confirmation, invoice or other suitable evidence of purchase.
The warranty applies to the original purchaser and starts from the date the product is delivered.
Replacement Parts and Products
Where a replacement part or product is provided under warranty, it will not restart or extend the original warranty period. The replacement will continue to be covered for the remaining period of the original warranty.
Replacement parts or products may vary slightly in appearance where an original item is no longer available, but we will aim to provide a suitable equivalent.
Your Statutory Rights
This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights and does not affect them.
Under UK consumer law, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. You may have legal rights to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund where goods are faulty, regardless of whether a warranty applies or has expired.
